I'm running for Village Trustee to be that voice:

I have called Arlington Heights home for more than 20 years. Born in Poland, I came to the United States and built my life here, becoming a proud American citizen along the way. Over the years, I have grown deep roots in this community and developed a strong appreciation for the people and neighborhoods that make Arlington Heights such a special place.
As a longtime resident, mother, widow, and dedicated member of the community, I understand the real challenges facing our families, businesses, and neighborhoods.
Today, I am ready to give back to the community I have proudly called home for more than two decades—bringing a thoughtful perspective, a strong work ethic, and a genuine commitment to listening to residents and helping Arlington Heights continue to thrive.
I bring decades of disciplined financial management and personal integrity to every decision. I believe government resources belong to residents—not special interests.
As an engaged citizen advocate, I see the concerns that go unheard and the voices that deserve a seat at the table.
I believe public officials should be willing to ask tough questions—even when it means challenging the status quo. This article highlights her questioning of a decision to increase the Village Manager’s compensation above $300,000. For Viola, fiscal responsibility starts with asking whether decisions are justified and in the best interest of Arlington Heights residents.

Every tax dollar represents the hard work of Arlington Heights residents. As your Trustee, I will support responsible budgeting, long-term financial planning, and investments that deliver real value while protecting taxpayers.
Everyone deserves to be heard and represented. I will make sure every resident—from longtime families to new neighbors—has a voice in the decisions that shape our community.
Safe neighborhoods, well-maintained streets, beautiful parks, and dependable village services are the foundation of a strong community. I will work to preserve what we love about our community while planning responsibly for the future and ensuring Arlington Heights continues to thrive.
Good government starts with trust. I believe in open communication, honest leadership, and giving residents a voice in the decisions that affect our community. As a trustee, I will work to make sure residents understand what decisions are made, how and why they are made, and have meaningful opportunities to be heard.
My Commitment to Arlington Heights — Listening to You, Working for You, Building Our Future Together
Before deciding to run, I took the time to learn how our village government works. I attended Arlington Heights Village Board meetings in person, reviewed meeting minutes, agendas, and related documents, and became familiar with the issues and decisions facing our community.
The more I learned, the more I felt that another voice was needed at the table—a voice representing the everyday resident. That's when I decided to volunteer my time and put myself forward for Trustee.
I'm not a career politician. I'm a resident, a mother, a widow, and a working member of our community. As you can read in my story, I know what it means to balance everyday expenses while making thoughtful decisions about the future.
I'm ready to bring that perspective to the Village Board. I believe we can maintain the services and quality of life we value while being thoughtful about spending, finding efficiencies, and keeping taxes as low as responsibly possible. I'm ready to listen, ask questions, and make sure the everyday resident has a voice in the decisions that shape Arlington Heights.
